MAKING GOLI BAJE

“Making Goli Baje” is a 12-page RISO-printed cookbook zine that serves as a visual guide for preparing the South Indian dish Goli Baje. This fried vegan snack is best enjoyed on a rainy afternoon with tea and is particularly popular in the city of Mangaluru, India. I was inspired to create this zine and share it with the world because it was one of my favorite snacks growing up. After all, it is my dad’s favorite snack, and nothing stands in his way until he has a full plate of it.
